IED國際設計教學網絡版圖目前已擴大到義大利的米蘭,羅馬,杜林,威尼斯,及西班牙的馬德里,巴塞隆納,巴西的聖保羅,里約熱內盧等八大都市均設有分校,不僅每個校區都堅持著IED的哲學與教學方式,並依照當地經濟社會現象的不同擁有各自的文化與特色.
不僅各大企業法人均常借助本校學生的創意能力協助,本校設立的研究中心長久以來更經常為國際間知名各大公司行號,學校和外國政府提供諮詢.
對IED來說,學習是一連串藉由研究與經驗來獲得知識的過程,更是文化,創意,關鍵的技能提升發展上所必備,這代表了學校的教學精神,在理論結合不斷實驗與操作的課程中,配合與業界合作對象的互動,每位學生不但能吸收設計理論,更有機會從全程參與到完成設計案中考驗自己的創造力.師資團隊由業界各領域的精英組成,隨時將專業與創新的能力,和市場第一手的新技術與趨勢帶入課堂中,並與各界知名品牌密切合作,提供學生實習機會,學校也設有就業服務幫助畢業生尋找到合適的工作.
另外每個校區內皆配有完善豐富的設備,大型的圖書資料館,現代化的實驗室,工作室,及活動或展秀用的場地等,軟硬體資源相當進步,可輔助每位學生完成互動式學習.
